No surprises
Sendit's platform fee is £0 during the pilot. Stripe deducts its processing fees from the recipient's tip. Customers pay only the amount they choose.
Stripe's published standard UK-card rate is 1.5% + 20p. On a £5 tip, that is approximately 28p, leaving £4.72. Premium and international cards cost more. This example is not a quote for every payment.
Your private dashboard shows the actual fee once Stripe reports it. Refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion and optional instant payouts may incur additional costs under Stripe's terms.
